The Buffalo Bills have acquired guard Richie Incognito, a day after he was placed on waivers by the St. Louis Rams.
Incognito was let go after getting two personal fouls in the Rams' loss to the Tennessee Titans and getting into a verbal confrontation with coach Steve Spagnuolo on the sidelines.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Dolphins also put in a waiver claim for Incognito, but the Bills get him because they have a worse record. Dolphins front office boss Bill Parcells said when he was hired that he didn't want "thugs and hoodlums" on his team. Apparently he doesn't think Incognito is either.
Until he was waived on Tuesday, Incognito had spent his entire five-year career with the Rams. He started nine games for St. Louis this season.
